Different generations of LS based engines came with different styles of throttle bodies. DBW (drive by wire) and DBC (drive by cable). Both work very well. Some Gen 3 (24X) swap applications work better with a DBC in my opinion but others I prefer DBW. All Gen 4 (58X) applications are DBW unless you use a non OE PCM like a Holley etc. We can set you up with all the proper parts to save lots of frustrations and wasted $$. Image by ICT Billet
